I had a day off today and kind of planned to shoot some more time lapses but the weather was very foggy this morning so I watched an episode of chasejarvisLIVE where he talked with photographer Zack Arias which I had in my to-watch-backlog.
They talk about photography, creativity, self doubt and everything a photographer (or any other artist for that matter) has to deal with. The interview lasts for two hours and I was drawn into it from the first minute. A really inspiring talk between two great photographers.
During the interview Zack mentions a difficult period in his life where he was asked to do a guest post on the blog of Scott Kelby. At first he didn’t want to do it but eventually took the opportunity and made a short film about how he was feeling at that time. I watched the video, not knowing what to expect and was blown away by it. It’s a very personal and inspiring video where he talks about his struggle as a photographer at that time.
